2003 Mercury ProXB 250 for trade or sale

I just bought a Bullet with a 2003 Merc Pro XB 250 with very low hours on it. Would be interested in selling or trading too a 200 or 225 EFI or Optimax. The motor checks out perfect compression and it looks brand new(To much motor for me). Please call (859)608-2520 and ask for Chad. Thanks

I'm with CTFSHWHISKER, just don't put so much throttle into it, unless there is something wrong with the motor??

Anyway, My boat is rated for a 250, but I have a 225 opti-max. Since you want the change, here is my offer. We take the boats to Jet-A-Marina, and let the service guys check both motors so we know both are in proper condition. Second, since you want the trade, you pay for the changing of the motors, and any adapting of systems to both boats.

Once completed, you will have your 225 opti, and I'll have the motor you did not want, provided it checks out as a good motor by my service guys.

I won't pay the whole amount. What year motor do you have anyway? Nothing is wrong with the motor. You can check it out all you want. I didn't want a motor that size but I loved the boat so I bought it.

really shouldn't be too expensive of a swap all the controls and wiring in the boats should be the same,i switched out 2 yamahas for a fellow in just a little less than 2hrs.
