Dale and Ky River Fishing Report

[Bonefish]

Fished Dale the 20th and 21st of September. Six nice SM caught in the 3 to 4.5 range. All caught on top-water at sunrise and sunset over weed beds. Bass in the KY River are holding on wood at this time. Flipping a lizard will do the trick. They have not started the shad attack on the surface with any consistency.

What area of dale was you fishing...i need some info bad

We fished Wolf River and the grass banks across from Skull Bluff, but I would say the grass beds down in the deeper water in TN are best right now because the bass numbers have not returned to fall patterns in the shallower areas. At least that is the way we graphed. There were few shad pods in the areas of Illwill and other tributaires, which told us the water was still too warm for fall activity. We just need some cool weather and some rain for things to pick up.
