Crappie at Green River

Has anyone been fishing Green for crappie? Not that familiar with the lake and would like to know if they have been biting and any other information that would be helpful. Going there this weekend staying at Holmes Bend.

i have not been down in about a month but if they have dropped the lake like the other ones it may be a little hard to find them. i catch them this time of year in the channel in around 30 foot of water with brush, also you can find them in deep coves with cover. my dad is heading down there monday for some crappie fishing. i get my best luck around the state park area.

well i am heading down now on sunday afternoon to put out some cedar trees out around a friends slip on the marina. he has been catching some nice ones about 10 deep under the dock.
