Taylorsville Finicky Bass

Are T-ville bass always this finicky? Last time is was raining I was catching them on a small white spinner bait pretty good, then the rain stopped and so did the bite. Yesterday the only thing they were hitting was a chrome rattle trap but when the wind stopped about 3:30 PM the bite stopped ...dead cold... My luck of being there when they are biting is about to run out, I feel.
