barren drawdown

any one know when it is beginnning is it the 16th

Here is what I found/posted on Sept 9th in another thread about this subject:

"I was curious about the same thing. I called the Barren COE office and was told that they will not start lowering the lake level until the lake level is at where it should be for the time it should be at that level (my words).

In other words, they normally drop it two feet from Sept 15 (552 normal) to Oct 15 (550 normal) and then start start a faster draw down until it gets to Winter Pool of 525 on Dec 1st; however, since it is now at 547.8 they will not start drawing down from there until around the end of October. They want to keep on track to arrive at Winter Pool around December 1st. So, they really won't start a draw down until around the end of October.

I hope this is as clear as the water is."
