I only do this 5 or 6 times a year, so I don't know much about the rods. I have 2 Lexus Silstars now and know they do not cast as well as the Allpros that I used in Bob Coan boat last year. Is the BPS rod a better rod that what I have now?

Get the BPS F-n-F rods........you will NOT be disappointed. I also used the LEXUS rods, and basically HATED them. I've actually had 3-4 different types, and settled on the BPS rods.

The BPShops Micro Lite is a solid rod. If you get one be sure to buy the 9'6" rod and purchase the weight system for the butt of the rod. It helps!
Thanks I will try the BPS rods this winter.
