Would Like To Get Some Pointers On This Wkend. I Am Fishing Our Club Classic At The Lakes. I Understand That Alot Of Guys Ran Way South During The Reg. This Past Wkend. With The Rains They R Recieving And More Coming Do You Think Staying On The North End Of Either Lake Would Be A Bad Idea?? I Figure They May Be Pulling Some Water On Sat. After The Rains R Out And Maybe The Water Would Be Alittle Cleaner So I Think I Am Going To Search The North End Of Both Lakes On Friday(would Say From Eddy Creek To Approx. Moors) I Am Not Affraid To Run But Sundays Winds Out Of The North May Have Me Alittle Leary. Will This Extra Water Push More Shad Into The Bays Like I Am Thinking? Thanks To All That Replies And Good Luck To All The Rest Of The Year
i'll be on the north end of barkley friday and saturday.. the rain is sure making things look up... the predicted lake level at ky is 356.7 for the end of the week... thats 1.3' above the last 2 weekends the water should have some color up in the bays and the small mouth have been working the rock points near the channel
we fished little river in cadiz last weekend and caught several, all in less than 4' of water, mostly on chartreuse spinner baits and brush hogs
good luck this weekend
