Nolin Condition

Any report on Nolin? I heard from a buddy that it was muddy and full of trash this past Saturday. We'll be heading to the Sat. Tourney out of Wax and was just wondering if the debris had cleared.

We went out of Wax on Sunday. There were a few big logs washed up on the ramp only leaving room for one boat at a time. I don't know if it's been removed or not. The water was muddy until we got down to dog creek and it was fairly clear from there on down but we didn't go past the island. We caught just as many in the muddy water as we did in the clearer water, used a orange craw color rattle trap in the muddy water, chrome in the clearer water. Water temp was around 62. Good Luck...

They have dropped the lake about 6 ft since last friday. According to the lake level report it has dropped 1.7 ft in the past 24hrs, and with another 4.8 ft till they reach normal pool I doubt they are going to slow down. If I remember correctly the schedule was to "pull the plug" around the 31st (now) to get the lake to winter pool, so it should make for interesting fishing.
