I can't help you much on any of the lakes you mentioned but I haven't missed a weekend on Rough or Nolin in months. I have been doing good at Nolin until the lake received all the rain, but last Sat in ran several miles up river and all the way to the dam. I didn't pick up any fish in the muddy water or at the dam, the fish seem to prefer the water with a slight stain. I found most of the fish 5-12 feet deep on wood next to deeper water. Rough river you will probably catch more fish but alot of 7-8 inch long ones, I found the pattern usually repeats no mater where I fish. I will most likely be at Nolin in the morning chasing Crappie again. I hope this helps.
Went to Taylorsville on Thrusday from 9am to 1pm. Surface temp 68. Water clear. Windy and cool. Fished timber around Chowning boat ramp with minnows. Caught 1 around 12 feet deep. Switched to trolling, caught 1. Went back to fishing timber and caught 1. Had one keeper. The highlight of the trip was seeing a bald eagel. Hope this helps.
