    Re: turn-over on dale?

We were down last week and the lake is down from winter pool (not exactly sure but, guestimate it down 6 feet below wiinter pool and temps were 69 to 70.
You should hit it about right....go get some shiners and drag em in 40 to 50 feet of water when you mark schools of baitfish.
Blade baits will also shine at this time.
Good luck and report back.... OK ?
BTW...turnover shouldn't happen til the end of November.

    Ramps at Dale

Are the ramps as BAD as everyone is saying..........I've heard that lots are not useable. I usually put in at STATE doc or Holly, but I've heard both are in bad shape, with Holly having some holes at the bottom, and State being washed out......

    Any truth to this stuff...........

I have a trip planned for next weekend, and DON't want to get in a bind.

BTW......only have 2-wheel drive, so take that into account.

    Thanks,

    Geo

It will all depend on the air temps. Last year it took FOREVER for the turnover to complete. It was almost January before mid lake was completely turned over but a bunch of 60 and 70 degree days in December will do that to the turnover. If it gets cold and stays cold, then the end of November is correct but all depends on the air temps.
