1st time river fishin

went to the ohio today with my cousin to do some lookin and fishin.Put in at salt river went toward br-burg hit a few good looking places had several sauger in the 8- 10in range with one 19" and a 14",a 5lb+ flathead,20" white perch(drum to others),2 good hybrids 4-5lb with many others in the 8-10inch size.Had a good busy day,actually went to go crappie fishin in the salt river but there were too many boats when we got there.fished from 12:30 to 5.

Fished 4 hour tournament on the OH yesterday. 7 boats 1st place 4 fish 8.015 pounds. 2nd place 6 fish 8.00 pounds. Got beat by 1 1/2 ounces. Ouch. 12 bass total weighed in. Dodged lightning but didn't dodge the rain. Felt like April. The smallmouth are beautiful and if you can find them you'll load the boat.
