Lake Fork

I'm hoping to have my own lake house one day, so that my relaxation is only a short walk way. I was curious to know that if you had your pick, which lake would you choose? I'm leaning towards Nolin!
Lake Fork
Cumberland..... Smallies in the winter, scantily clad women in the summer!!![]()
Grand traverse bay or Toho.
lake fork!
Norris in Tenn or Ky/Barkley
Lake Vernon, Leesville Louisiana 5000 acres of stumps in 30 feet of water full of large mouth in the 5 to 9 class and slab crappie all winter both months of it!!
if your stayin in ky i'd say ky or barkley.good crappie bass sauger stripers and cats and bluegill and white bass.usually something is always biting. If you are leaving ky then head south, anything from n. alabama on down is an improvement over our puddles.jmo
Lake Amistad........in Kentucky Barkley or KY Lake.
My wife and I bought a great builbing lot on Rough for the same reason. Someday we would build a place to take the kids in the summer and finally one day just plain move in for good. We haven't broken ground on the place yet and to tell you the truth, I don't think Rough is the place for me anymore. That's okay, the lot will serve as a good investment, we'll just sell it when the time comes and use that $$ to buy another lot somewhere else. So basically, just buy a nice lot somewhere and you can't go wrong.
Good Luck.

I just seem to be drawn to Nolin River Lake myself also.....![]()
Big Houseboat on any lake. Lake front lot always. Put out lines at night. No grass or gutters.
