I live close to Owensboro, and fish the river some, what are you wanting to fish for? If you have a boat, the catfishing is good in several places around Owensboro. Behind the big "E" holds some big cats as well as behind Owensboro Grain. If you want to catch some stripers and big cats, the spillway behind OMU is a good place to try. I have had a hard time finding places to fish from the bank, but I have caught a lot of catfish fishing from the bank at English park, and the Little Hurricane boat ramp on the left side. Let me know if this is the kind of info you are looking for.
