Skunked? I think not. A 20" smallie is a heck of a fish.

Went to cumberland yesterday, launched at grider. fished the FNF in guffey, whipperwill, and west creek, never saw the bobber go down. Also tried 3inch tubes, spin rites, and the only fish I got was one 20 inch SMB on a fire tiger crank bait. Water temp was about 52 degreesm and just a little stained. No bird activity, fished the cumberland river out of burkesville monmday. Three browns, butthe river is up about 5 ft or more. trolling was hard because of the debris.Water was slightly stained.

not for six hours of casting, went to the river this morning, its toohigh to fish the way i like, started to dale, and remembered that my stuff was in the shed, got out the FNF tackle, the regular spinning rods, and headed for dale, this isn't that hard for me, because I live only 16 miles from dale and lake cunberland, and 10 miles from the river.Stopped at the gas station on state park road, and guess what , no wallet. Went home, is this a sign of aging, or being tired from two days of fishing hard.
Since I forgot to unhook the boat trailer, tommorow its dale, going to pin my wallet to my underwear.
