    Places to stay on Barkley

I was wondering if any of you kind gentlemen or women have ever stayed at either Holiday Hills Resorts or Eddy Bay Resort Lodging in Eddyville.

Will be fishing there in the Spring.

Thanks so much for your help.

You can't go wrong with Jim and Barbara at Holiday Hills. If you don't have a reservation yet, you might not get one for this year. Good luck.

Have never stayed at Holiday Hills but have taken a number of clients out of there and all the comments I have had from them about Holiday Hills has been positive.

You cant go wrong with either choice you mentioned.Ive stayed at them both.Just be aware that you cant pull your boat to your cabin. You will have a area to unhook just below the office area.

Thanks everyone for your responses. We have stayed at Holiday Hills and thought we would try Eddy Bay Resort this year. I wanted to see how they compared with all of you.

    Thanks again!

I have stayed at both. I think I would take Holiday Hills over Eddy Creek at this point. Buzzard Rock is also a good option.

eddy creek, staying there allows at least 2-3 extra minutes on the water.. lol both are good places to stay, buzzard rock is good too but i would rather fish eddy creek for crappie

pallisades is right there too if anyone can give a report on them

    Hey,
If your like me and looking for the cheap way go up and see Habeeb at the Relax Inn in Kutawa. Not too expensive, pretty clean place and you can usually pull your boat right in front of your room unless you go there when they have the quilt festival in Paducah which I have done. Very Crowded. Also very crowded when they decide to execute prisoners at Eddyville. I was down there when they executed Glen whats his name and you could not go down the road by the Hardees out of Kutawa toward Eddy Creek for protesters CNN and Fox news. If you go there any other time it is usually pretty clear.

    Stockcars...yes it is 2-3 minutes.

BarkleyPup...I can hang with the fishing guys but when it comes to where I stay, lets just say I can't just flop anywhere like most guys.

I really do like Holiday Hills but climbing that hill to the cabins is .

    Thanks guys!
