Barren River Lake Conditions?

I am planning on heading to the lake on Sunday. I was wondering if anyone has been on the lake lately? I trying to find out if it will be worth going? If anyone could help, I would appreciate it. Water Color, Water level, Water temp.?

Water temps are slightly warmer than they were several weeks ago. The lake is stained but several people are fishing it around the water plant and the island area. For the correct level, go to the Barren River fishing report and click on the lake level icon. I know if you call 270-646-2122, its a recording and it will tell you the level, and in the summer water temps. Hey, I called it as of this morning it was 540.62. Its up well for this time of year but they are pulling it fairly good. If you go just look out for the trash, when it comes up hard it always pulls a lot of trash/brush off the bank. Good luck.
