Hey Dave Stewart - how's the bass fishing

Noticed you were on the board earlier today.
How has the bass fishing been the past couple of days?

It must be good - He's still out fishin....lol

Bass fishing is good on the days you can get out lately. I was not out there yesterday with wind from the south gusting 30-40 mph. The fish are still spread out...fish are coming from ledges to the backs of the bays. I am seeing more fish moving shallow and expect this will continue as long as the water stays up and we do not have any major arctic cold fronts come thru.

Dave, thanks for the quick reply. However we have decided to bail out (no pun intended) due to the rain, work, other vac etc and If I wasn't coming down April 7th week probably would have come this time regardless. Leave me a couple over these next few weeks until I can get there to catch them. I'm also like many others on this board that I do appreciate the time you put in here and the weekly fishing report you post and if/when I ever hire a guide your #1 pick
