Is Rough even fishable

just wondering..supposed to fish a club tourn there the 29th..

In my opinion, the question should be "can you even launch a boat at Rough?" If the COE site is correct, Rough is more than 14 feet above Summer pool and they are not pulling it much at all and are not likely to between now and the 29th. I don't have any actual measurements, but I am pretty sure that 14 feet above Summer pool means the water is in the parking lots for most Rough ramps, except maybe Laural and that would be down to two lanes with no turn-around.

But, to answer your actual question, some of the best Spring fishing I have had a Rough was with spinnerbaints and ShadRaps in flooded brush.

it is muddied up,if you put in at state you will have to back down from the top lot.some fish were beginning to come up pretty good before the typhoons.

thanks guys...hopefully some fish have moved up shallow with the high water..I'll post back how things go
