Blood River today

Went to Blood River and had a pretty good day. Started the day off drowning minnows and casting jigs for Crappie. Fished flooded bushes and other shallow wood but never caught a fish. Seemed like i was the only one fishing shallow for them. Didnt take long to switch over to Bass tackle, and thats when the bite came to life. Caught 18 in about 2 1/2 hrs. had several around 2-3lbs and 4 between 3-5 with one weighing 5.9. They bit almost everything i threw at them today. Fished a Cumberland Craw jig, Texas-rigged tube and a Chigger Craw mainly flipping the edges of the bushes. All the bigger fish came off of a Luck E Strike Bass Magic Swimbait (the 5.5" one) I fished these over the top and outer edges of the flooded buckbrush.
The water was Heavily stained in the back of Blood river but cleared up towards the mouth and the temps were from 51 to 53 degrees.
