Thanks for the report! Sounds like maybe Cumberland is where I should go tomorrow. What was the water clarity like?

Fished Cedar Creek thursday for about three hours.Water temp.was 50 to 52.Tried spinnerbaits (white and chartruse)and crankbaits (sexy shad ).Nothing going on so we loaded up and headed for Cumberland.Put in at Lees Ford Marina.Water temp.51 to 53.Started out across from the marina.First three cast caught fish on spinner bait(white and chartruse).Fish holding tight to wood cover and chunk rock. When on up in to creek to see how high the water was nothing going on up there went back toward the main lake.Stoped to fish a few points and pockets caught 4 brown fish and 4 spots and 2 green fish on spinnerbait fished real slow.Caught 1 spot and 3 browns on sexy shad crankbait.Had a bunch of hits on spinnerbait just couldn't hook'em.Fished till about 7:45.On our way back to the dock stripers were busting shad down toward the marina.I had never caught one so we tied on swimbaits and started casting for them.Made 3 or 4 cast and got nailed by one.Got it to the boat after about 10 min.My buddy went to net it and mised the first time.Second time got it in net tail sticking out of the net.No scales but we guessed it to weight about 12 to 15.Man what rush.Water is up about 5 to 7 feet since the last time we were there. Good luck to anyone fishing this week end.Wish I was out there.
