Put in at Van Buren (sp) and went up to the 248 bridge today. Water was up and muddy. Me and a buddy went looking for the whites. Saw bait fish coming to the top but that was all. Threw Rattle Traps, Rooster tails, small cranks ect..... no luck. Then got frustrated and started in on the Bucket mouths. soft plastics, spinnerss and jigs. got right in the middle of the trees and threw on every place a fish SHOULD be.

Fished 5 hard hours. Not the fist bite. Big fish were splashing all over the place. I guess it was carp?

Could have been drum (or white perch, whatever you prefer)....they begin to spawn around this time of year

Im with you. This weather ***** for our beloved white bass. Was going today but guess what it was raining again.
