As Joe Dirt would have said.... Dang Brother. Seriously that thing is huge. Almost enough to make you want to move to California.......NOT.
that is a huge @$$ bass. i think i would mess all over the place if i had one of those on the other end of my pole.
That is a big bass...
...then again the guy's fist is almost the same size as his own head

FishChris is a California big bass legend (unofficially). I have been seeing pictures of him for years with monsters from out west. worldrecordbass.com has a ton of his pictures, if that website even still exists, its worth a check.
I wish they were in Ky like this!!!! I may have to make a trip to california. Nevermind - that would make my 7-8 lb. Ky lake monsters seem like bait. Why spoil a good thing.
He caught that fish from a 60acre PUBLIC pond?? Holy %&$!....thats a pig
Well now that is not a Kentucky Bass! Nice fish. Folks I guess we will just have to keep trying.

Where was this fish caught? I read where it was in Norhtern California. I lived in Santa Rosa, CA for 9 years (Santa Rosa is about 70 miles north of San Francisco, CA). I cut my teeth on bass fishing at Spring Lake through the 1980s. I lived about 1.5 miles from this lake... Check out:

Apparently, Spring Lake now holds some HAWGS... Man, if I still lived there I would be a mess! Wanting to hawg hunt all the time with a 10" trout swimbait!!!
Back when I fished this lake it was all Mann's plastic worms, small crankbaits, Mepp's Spinners, etc. A lot of rainbow trout caught there as well. As we all know, that' s why the bass get so huge in CA...
