Laurel next week....

Well I was going to go to KY Lake next week but....plans change. I'm now doing a complete 360 and going to Laurel.....

I've only been to Laurel once, in July, and caught NOTHING. But we were down there and got wind of the great trout/smallmouth fishing in April. So it goes without saying...

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!!!

X 2...... I'm wanting to go as well. Any info on how they were catching them this past weekend. A "little" info is all I need. Just enough to get me going. I'll figure out the rest. Thanks in advance.

Just got back today. Done pretty good. Fished the lower end of lake. Hit the banks. Was a little windy, caught most of our fish in the breaks in the wind. Some good spots right now are Rogers Creek and Craigs creek. Talked to a guy today that finished third in this past weekends tournment with over 22 pounds. Hit these spots. I fished it a few weeks ago and done real good in these areas. Used crankbaits and suspended jerk baits. Trout are getting to go deep so they are feeding up. Caught 8 today throwing a crankbait. Hope this helps. By the time you all head down here the fishing should really be on.
