Back from Laurel

Just got back from Laurel. Water was pretty rough due to wind. Temps were 55 to 57 today. Plugged all day. Went from Flatwoods down to 312. Caught a few bass one being close to 4 lbs. Caught 8 trout. Looks like there getting to go deep for the year trying to eat up. Seen a few boats trolling, talk to a few of the guys said they wasnt doing to good. All and all pretty good day. Just wish this wind would stop. Guess thats spring though.

I was on Laurel as well yesterday. My first trip ever. Put in at Flatwoods as well. The wind was a little rough. Caught 2 fish; 1 fish about 12 inches and 1 fish went almost 19in, 3lbs. It was a nice fish. Both fish caught on banks where the wind was blowing in, throwing spinnerbaits (white & chartreuse). Nothing else produced for us. All in all for the first trip I was pleased. Wish I could have caught the 20lb+ bags caught on Saturday!! Oh well, maybe another day.
