Ky lake
Just looked at the TVA website and they are predicting a slow rise on Ky and Barkley. Things were just getting really good too!!!!
I dont know who this spring is the hardest on, the fish or us fools trying to catch them....

Re: Ky lake
TVA is now forecasting Ky lake to get up to 363.3 by Sunday, So that is as high as it was before they started dropping it... Their forecast doesnt go past Sun. yet. Anyone interested in knowing what the lake elevation is and what its predicted to be can check it out on www.TVA.gov

Re: Ky lake
I was thinking about coming down sun. and stay till wed. Ya'll have any idea or thought on what the crappie and bluegill will be like.

Re: Ky lake
There are some Bluegill up shallow right now. I would think with the warmer temps we will have this week that the Crappie could start moving into the bushes also. TVA is now predicting the water to be 365.2 by Sunday... Its been rising about a 10th every hour, which is about1.2 inches

Re: Ky lake
I'm coming down Tuesday 4/8 - 4/11 regardless so I hope you're right concerning the Crappie. Never fished the lake for crappie even at summer pool much less 4 feet over - not sure what to expect. Do you think the Bass fishing will still be good? Any idea what to expect overall?

Re: Ky lake
Whoa that is getting up there. Any ideas what ramps will work? Fenton will be swamped but I imagine Kenlake may work. I am having trouble even thinking of usable ramps on Barkley. What a great week for spring break!

Re: Ky lake
Alot of the LBL ramps will be un usable. But there are several ramps that are okay. you might just have to pick a couple different ones and run to where you want to fish. Still look for some HUGE bags of fish to be weighed in this weekend

Re: Ky lake
Mineral Mound ramp was in good condition on Barkley. You could even use the dock by the ramp. I put in at Ky Dam, Mineral Mound and Eddy Creek the last few days. Most of the docks are under the water but the ramps are usable.
