Lake Fork

I know this is the KY board, lol. However, I was wondering if anyone has been to Lake Fork, Texas recently - past year or so? I am considering making a trip out that way early this summer. How is the drive and where did you stay? Looking for something inexpensive but realitively nice and preferrably on the west side of the lake.

Thanks Andy I will definitely get in touch with you if we definitely decide on going. I will be taking my boat so I will be driving. I am also looking at fishing a lake about 2 hours west called Joe Pool. Looking to spend about a week in the area fishing.
