Went to Laurel today. Got there bout 7. Fished Rogers Creek for bout 2 hours with no hits. Decided to hit the bank past Hightop. Fished cover and muddy points. Landed 5 3 being keepers. LM. Caught them on Rootbear bandits and jigs with minnows. Water was 53 bout the whole lake. Went Tuesday and it was in the mid 50's. After bout 11 had no bites rest of the day. They was having the buddy tournement today and talked to a few of them guys, only 1 had a keeper and that was at 2 in the day. Not the best day on Laurel thats for sure. I remember this time last year we wasnt catching anything though. Starting to get the feel. Past 4 or 5 times been doing real good. Hopefully this pretty weather we will be getting will push um up.

Yeah, it was a real cold rain. I couldnt believe it either. By the end of next week it should be bout good.
