What's the record water level on ky lake

just wondering what's the highest the water has been before, and when was it

I'm not good with the TVA numbers but I have lived on the lake since '97 and I have seen it about a foot and a half higher than right now 4/6/08 @ 4:21pm. I have seen it in the parking lot at the ramp by big bear resort I would say 5 or 6 years ago.

Are the campsites at Big Bear under water yet? I'm staying right on the water in 3 weeks, my usual tent spot is probably under already.

Here is something i found on the highest water levels on Ky lake
May 11th, 1984 - 369.99 This is the highest the lake has ever gotten.
May 24th, 1983 - 369.87
March 28th, 1973 - 369.01
Jan 24th, 1950 - 368.81
April 19th, 1979 - 368.14

Checking some of my old reports the lake was 366.58 on May 15, 2003 and rising..it was during the 03 FLW tournament here..I do remember it came up a little more to about 367 before they dropped the bottom out of the lake...it was 362 the following week and dropping one foot per day...they can drain this big lake fast when they open all the gates.

I do remember that the lake was higher than in 03 back in the spring of 97 but can't remember the exact figures....and my reports from that year were lost in a computer crash a few years ago and I did not have them backed up..learned a lesson there.

My son works the marina at big bear and he said most of them are under water but not all.
