I like Green River Lake...anxious to hear how it went.
Have only fished the lake 3 times and the most of the fish I caught were Musky's during the Tournament of Champions in Nov. But I did catch what fish I caught on a shad rap. Nov. and now are two different time periods, so my info isn't going to help you any.
Yea i hear it is full of Musky,A freind did tell me about 1 spot too fish he won a club tournament at,Maybe i can get my boss too give me 1 too.I may go over sat and stay some where so any idea about where would be nice too. Thanks
Man I ain't got a clue as where to stay at when going to Green. But I do know that they have a sort of small town just before you get there that you might find a Hotel or somethin like that.
I fished a T there last weekend, we did great on Sat. but Sun. pretty much stunk. Both days our keepers came tight off wood with jigs later in the afternoon. Most guys in the club were catching them on CB's on gravel banks in creeks and it was won with spinnerbaits on bluff walls on the main lake. We launched at ramp 1, where a few guys had stuff stolen out of the back of their trucks both daysso be sure everything is locked up.
Thanks worm, glad i have a tahoe so its all locked up,we are going out of lone.
Worm1 - Where's ramp 1 located? Man...stuff stolen during broad daylight huh?? That $()%$!!
It happens last year it was a freinds truck up at rough someone hit,its those cheap slider back glass he had how they got inside.
Ramp1/Site1 is just past the tailwater on 55, it sits about mid lake making it a popular tourney ramp. I didn't hear of anything being broken into just taking things out of the back of trucks. Sat. they got me for a extension cord, Sun they got me for a cooler, gallon of oil and a new extension cord. Thank god they didn't take my boat cover that was in a big rubbermaid container with a strap holding it down, I would have been hunting someone if they did. Anyway it goes I hate a F-n theif.

No disrespect intended but you sure made it easy for these idiots.I would have learned from the first day. Maybe have a buddy watch your truck for a few hours and catch these fools? Well, that might not be a good idea because that could lead to a butt whoopin'.

I fish Green River Lake often, and for some reason there is someone or a group driving around the spillway and ramp 1 area stealing out of the backs of trucks. There was an older man at the spillway that got out of his truck long enough to ask some guys if the fish were hitting, and when he made it back to his truck, all of his tackle was gone.
I parked at ramp 1 once and had a spare tire for my boat trailer in the back where it has been for years stolen. These stories have gotten worse just lately, that is why I stay at Lone Valley or Holmes Bend. There are always cars cruising the parking lots of ramp 1 and the spillway.
