having trouble choosing the right color lure these days...second guessing myself alot. what are some "rules" some of you experienced fellas stick to when choosing lure color?

Match the Hatch for whatever lake you are fishing. If that is not an option, I let water clarity dictate my color choices. Also if crawfish are the target food forage at the time go with craw patterns if it's shad go with shad patterns.
