    Hey Dave

Hopefully with all the water they are pulling it will take some of the trash outta the lake. I took my son out Sunday and there was a picnic table floating down the middle of the lake with Gulls sitting on top of it.... Guess they were having a picnic. Maybe the water will staighten out for you. I dont make my living on the water like you, but i know the trash and the wind have to hurt you. I hope it all clears up for your sake.....

I am sure the debris will slow down with the water coming down once all the stuff quits being pulled off the banks. I dodged some of the big duck blinds made of old pontoon boats a few days ago, also some of the float tubes that go under pontoon boats, chairs, tables, metal drums and more trees than I could count. It has been a bad spring so far for business in that I lost more trips in March due to weather than I lost the whole season last year.....certainly not what you want to happen but not much one can do about mother nature. This week has not been good either...we could have actually gone out today but we had to make the call two days back due to client travel time and the winds forecast then was for some bad winds today which of course is not the case...tomorrow storms and wind, wind warnings out for Friday...sooner or later it has to improve...lol.

    Re: Hey Dave

I tried to go out today - went to a couple of ramps and decided against it. I went to the Ky dam marina and Double creek (barkley dam). If I would have had someone with me, both of the ramps would have been ok, but not for launching by myself. I had nowhere to pull up once launched other than the ramp - I need to get a keel-gaurd put on, but until recently I haven't really seen the need for one. I am going out of town for a few days, hopefully by sunday the wind and water will cooperate.

You need to get that keel guard on your boat if you are gonna fish here...other wise sooner or later you are gonna get a big chunk taken out of your keel even during normal pool...trust me, I have been there.
