    Phil Weisenberger RIP

Mr. Weisenberger was one of my first supporters when I came to Fishin.com. We met at the Jim Strader Expo back in 1999. I showed him some comments about his Great Fish Batter that were made on the original discussion forum. He decided not long after that to advertise on this site and has been with us as an advertiser and supporter ever since.
I heard today that Mr. Weisenberger died over the weekend.
I do not know the details and only heard about it tonite on the Strader Radio Show. I hope that you will take a minute from your day to remember a very nice man who supported Fishin.com and the sport of fishing in Kentucky.
I will as long as I can find it use that batter. I have taken it all over the US and always have gotten great comments on my version of the Beer Battered fish, especially last year when I used it on Fresh halibut in Alaska.
Mr. Phil I will miss you.

That is the only fish batter that I use. It is the best.

    Jim,
It's never good news to hear of a friend passing, I feel for you.
I'm curious of this fish batter.....is it something that you will share?

Hey Don you can buy it at the Grocery store, or go to the mill itself and pick it up on Elkhorn creek. It is some good stuff and the history of the mill is a story all in it's own.

Thanks Marvin, I'll look for it so I can give it a try.
