Redear on ky and barkley

Will be down from 4/25/08 thru 5/2/08. Just wandering how the redear action will be @ this time. I am a little concerned that the water temps might not be warm enough but the forecast is calling for some more stable weather and warmer temperatures. Also any suggestions on were to locate a few of these fighters on North Barkley. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Alot of the bays on N Barkley have gravel banks in them. Look for the pea gravel banks with 5-15 ft of water. We are suppose to get alot of good stable weather wit warm days and nights so look for the water temps to make a big jump.
We i take my son out to fish for Shellcrackers i always use a very simple set-up. I use a cricket hook with a splitshot about 14 inches above the hook and a piece of nightcrawler for bait. You might try Carmack and crabb creeks on Barkley.
