Hey Michael.... Check out Daves Fishing report on the front page of the web site. He should have it posted by in the morning and you can pretty well take it to the bank on what he says in his report

Hey guys,
I have a tournament Saturday. It is a trailer tournament at Barkley State Park. We can launch there or trailer else where. From what I understand we can fish either lakes, ky or barkely. I dont live in the area and I am not going to be able to pre-fish. Can you guys chime in with a little help on what do to? Wheather conditions for Saturday are early morning rain and winds sw at 14mph. I was thinking about energy bay as I have caught some good fish there before? If I do trailer I would like to keep to a 15-20 min drive. Thanks for the help. Michael

With the color of barkley, I would say you may be better off trailering to Ky. You can be at Jonathan creek or Kenlake ramps in not much more than 20 minutes. Jonathat creek gives you good access to Ky lake. The opposite side of J creek has some good bays, you can run up north to big bear or go a little further south to Blood river. However, you can probably do pretty good staying in a few bays without traveling too far. Like Nitro said - Dave's report is a great starting point.
