Question Question about "lead in banks"

Ok I feel as dumb as it gets can anyone please tell me what exactly is a lead in bank?

Also was on KY on LBL side yesterday and caught about 75 bass most of ehich were small (I expect great things in a few years) caught the biggest ones on a shaky head, strike king red eye in sexy shad and a rapala minnow with the funny shaped lip. I use spot remover hooks 3/16th oz and a plethera of zoom finese worms mostly in bull frog and watermelon candy

Today I was on barkley around the devils elbow area and fished this evening for a couple hours and had about 5 keepers back in the main lake coves on basically the same baits. As far as I can tell I had only one fish and that was yesterday that was 4lbs 4oz that had any hint of major spawning activity (bloody tail) yet I have been seeing tons of bass acting as if they were in full spawn but just cruising I guess
