I'm heading to Beaver next Wednessday or Thursday and was wondering if the bass were bedding yet? If so can you still find some bass in staging patterns this time of year? I have never tried sight fishing before for bedding bass since I usually avoid fishing when bass are on the beds. But, I've got to get out of the house and do some fishing or I'll go nuts! Haven't been yet this year.
Thanks!

Thanks! I'll be looking for the reply. Can't wait to get out on the water. This will be my first time this year.
Water was stained a little. Clear in some areas. Water Temp was from 68-70. I caught a bunch of little fish shallow (The bucks are up making nests) I didn't see any large females ON the nest. One guy in the tourney said he worked on an 8pound female for 3 hours and then she broke his line when he finally got her. They should bed up during the week and big females go on as well. Good luck. I am going to break away from work as well to go do some sight fishing!
Grass is coming in pretty thick. The Ky,fish and wildlife released 300 grass carp to help. I doubt 300 in a 150 acre body of eater will do much. Thats 2 fish per acre. Hope they're hungry!
Young grass carp will eat a LOT, but after a few years they slow down to nothing.. should help for a while.Water was stained a little. Clear in some areas. Water Temp was from 68-70.
