Went sunday morning from about 7:30-12:30. Me and a buddy caught about 10 or so (mix of smallies, bluegill, and some weird creek chub looking fish not really sure what it was). The fish seemed active, however, there was a bunch of moss on the bottom of 80% of the creek and alot was free floating in the current. Made for very tough and frustrating fishing, constantly removing the moss from your lure. Is this regular this time of year on Elkhorn? I went several times last summer and never dealt with this before. How long does this "moss" hang around usually??
