Results from Laurel

Fished Laurel today. Caught only 2. Was in Canoe Branch bout all day. Seen alot of bass on the banks. Throwed everything I had at them would not bite.

Tough bite on Laurel, that is for sure. Only caught a few small fish and 1 good 3 1/2lb or so Walleye in 28 hours on the water Tue and Wed.

Been there an done that--I have had some tough times on that lake ..

The smallmouth bite is good right now for me...yes i agree if your going after those bedding fish they are near impossible to catch even though its so hard to not try too...if i see em i just keep on going unless i know there locked on and i can makem mad enough to bite...alot of fish being caught in the river too but most of my fish are from marsh to spruce which i know is quite a distance

Does anybody have any help for laurel? I'm taking my dad sat morning and would like to show him a good time. thanks for any help.

Personally I have never been on this lake but from what I hear its feast or Famine... But have heard its beautiful "Take your Camera"

The bite is real slow right now. It supposed to rain Sat. to. I would recommend on waiting a week or so. But if you do decide to come, fish towards the river and I like Rogers creek awful well, buts its bound to packed. Be safe and good luck
