Before the alewife the white bass population was good even in the early 80's with the big stripers in big numbers. There has been plenty of time to find out why they are gone(if anyone cares). will they come back, or will we continue the pay lake policy, stock the fish that gets the money. Sorry for the rant, I gave up on the walleye front because money talks and that issue is over.
