Laid the smack down on cland yesterday....

so i decided not to go to dale or norris..... i went to cland instead and took dad..... we ran up in faubush and seen a few nice fish and alll she would do is swiim in circles and for some reason she came up and boiled the water a time or two but my dad learned a lesson and a big one cause he is old and i am young and believe it or not u can teach an old do new tricks but he dont seem to think so.... he needed a new spining reel so he got one of those new shimano saros with the propulsion something or other an new gimik to sell i guess but against my better judgement he put 10lb flouro on it and boy was that fun to watch one cast lure hits the water the rest of the line on the spool unwinds nicely in your hand.... so dont put heavy flouro on spinning rods.... i also showed him how to fish a floating worm wacky..... we went up some creek i just picked at random and it had buck brush and it was on from there i bet i i caught 30 of them little 1 1/2 to 2 lb ky they were so much fun and dad did about the same we ended up with who knows how many ky's adn 4 smallmouth in the 15 to 17 inch range they was alll short but its very east to tell when them brown fish hit them worms its plunk and hold on.....i caught fish on a jig, floatin worm, and a cotton candy tube....water was in the 65 degree range...... it was a good day on the water bout the most fish i have caught in one trip in a long time.... i am looking forward to going back....
