Being from mi we fished bullheads early in the spring and they are good too eat then. The lake we fished them in has tons of bass, pike, waleye crappie, bluegills and dog fish so i don't think they will hurt the food chain.just my thought![]()

Fishermen are catching bullhead catfish out of Cedar, and I am wondering what affects they will have on the food chain in this lake. They must have been in Cedar Creek before the lake was built or someone is stocking them, which I guess is what happened with the shad. Bullheads produce something like ten times the amount of eggs that channel cats produce.

KDFWR stocked them and I have got a few nice one while bass fishing on sinkos. Have only seen the Blackbullheads but I read were there are 2 more types in there.
I've caught a few of them from there. I much prefer catching the channel cats to the bullheads.
KDFWR did not stock them, but I doubt that they will have much effect on the big picture.
