Green River

Has anybody been to Green? I am thinking about going Fri. Last year mid May I had some good top water days.

No help? If I go I'll post a report. I plan to try Cumberland Sun. night. I'll be fishing out of Jamestown. Any help in that area?

I haven't fished Green in quite sometime but I did talk to some fellas about two weeks ago that have been fishing it often. According to them Green was having one of it's best Springs in years and lots of fish with shoulders being caught, this is all I know.

catching some fish swallow in the backs of creeks around cover (T-rig and jig)
bigger fish on c-rig in alittle deeper water leading in to spawning areas and back of pockets..KP

I was down a few weeks ago and had a limit in a little over an hour. 18+ pounds! Go to the dam an fish the point on the left (not at the marina) get tight to the bank and paralell the bank with a spinner bait, letting the bait run about 4-5 feet deep. I caught several fish there and broke my line on one that would have been 5-6 pounds. Also fish that point on the outside(main lake) down the bluff wall. If the spinner bait bite is still on you should tag them pretty good in this area. Good Luck.......................................Bill

No smallies, all Large Mouth. Got lucky and didn't even get bit my a Musky.Thos things will take a spinner bait from you real quick.
