Nolin this weekend

I have a place on Nolin in Canoloway. I usually spend my bass fishing time within Canoloway itself but was thinking about heading to Briar Creek this weekend. Is this a good idea this time of year or should I head to Dog Creek or elsewhere? Normally Saturday is tournament day so should I plan on going out of Canoloway on Sunday to miss the crowd? Thanks in advance for any info.

There is a tournament this Sunday out of Moutardier ramp.

Same thing out of Wax Ramp as well......Just be thankful that the weather has been terrible and it's keeping the jet ski's and pleasure boaters off the water as of yet.......

I just got back from Nolin today, and it wasnt that crowded. Ended up with 4 keepers a white bass, and i caught a 6-7 pound flathead while trolling
