It will let in enough water that my bilge pumps would come on before I figured out what the problem was.

If my aerator pump was leaking how much water could it let in the boat? The bottom housing where the cartridge latches in has a few cracks in it. I hope this is my problem because its leaking a good amount of water over a 8 hour time span. I have just bought this boat and I think the previous owner did not take real good care of it. My bilge pump also keeps blowing fuses. I am thinking that he had water in this boat over the winter and the pumps froze up and cracked. Any ideas on the bige as well? I could not find any bare wires where it could be shorting out, this boat is an 06 so its not that old just had not been taken good care of.

My aerator pump housing was cracked, well so was my bilge pump housing causing it to blow fuses every time I kicked it on, once I unplugged it the aerator on the float ran fine without blowing any fuses, going tommorrow to pick up replacement parts so I can get it fixed for the weekend.
