Hey Big Wormy, I don't bass fish a whole lot, I mostly striper fish, but I did go yesterday evening for a while and had quite a bit of action with bass assassin jerk baits. Mostly kentuckys, but also caught a couple of 15 inchish smallmouth. If you will be driving by Cumberland Pro Bass on Hwy. 90 on your way in, Greg usually has a good up to date bass report, and he's a pretty straight shooter. Good luck.

Depends where you are ramping in at.
Familiar with some spots close to Jamestown. Coming out the harbor, at the end of the no wake, the points to your left and right, smallies will hit there often on either Zora Spooks, sometimes shad under bobbers, and sometimes shiners under bobbers or cast in and retrieve very slow with no more than a split shot for weight about 1-2 feet ahead of the bait. Same tactics, on the right side exiting the harbor where you have the first point, there's a slew with walls and across from it another point. Work the banks around the slew and both points. Now, if you came out of Jamestown, passed the no wakes, and broke to your left, you'd be headed toward, Lilly Creek. As you come out of the no wake, follow the walls down and fish any cuts in the rocks, as well as the samll rock cutouts, and on down till you come to a big sleew on your left. Fish the point you come to firs, in to the slew and the walls on your left, then cross over and try the far walls as you work out toward that point again. Then a left, down the walls toward Lilly, and there's another big slew and point to try. You could literally be on the trolling motor all morning, and that would be it!
