Wacked 'em last night

Went to KY River with a buddy of mine and my cousin. Fished a little over 2 hours and caught 40-45 total. The cool part is what we caught... Black and white crappie, LM bass, SM bass, KY Bass, Sauger, white perch, bluegill and hybrids. Caught most everything on 3" grubs and crankbaits...

I set the hook on one fish that I fought for about 2 minutes before the hook pulled out. I never saw the fish but it was a moose. If I had to put money on it I would say it was a 10 pound cat.

Sounds like a ball. Where did you put in? Just curious because I've never been on the river but plan to often this year. Maybe as soon as this weekend.

I had always wanted to fish the Kentucky River pool from where it feeds into the Ohio on up...have you ever fished this pool? If so, what time of year and how was it?

That's what I like to hear! Been noticing quite a bit of action on the river here in Frankfort. I vented last night about traveling around and not doing any good. Just going to hang tight for a while and fish what I know best.
