Headin to ky lake fri. anyone got any ideas, thoughts,knowledge, brains, or opinions of where to fish(areas or bays close to 68 bridge)Anyone see ky afield this weekend,I think they taped some of the show in that area.

The bay won't matter..........gills are on the beds in all of them. Most everyone are fishing the banks, but the majority of the larger beds are in 3.5' to 4' of water right out in the middle of the bays. I've been throwing a small black jig that looks like a little spider w/ some success.........here's a pic from last weekend.

Try barkley. there is a launch ramp across from energy lake. T6ake that down to the submerged bridge, and fish the shore line for red ears and nice gills.also some good ky bass in that area.

Went down last weekend. Caught them in 3-6 ft, small coves. Redworms and black jigs worked great. Fished in Blood River the whole time. Caught 100+.
