This report came from another board...take it for what its worth but I saw the pics of the fish these guys caught and they had some HAWGS!! If you're lookin for somethin to start with, might give this a shot...the 50 fish in 2.5 days isnt an exageration either

"The lake is on fire right now!!! The day bite will start slowing down by the time you get down there but you should be able to catch them throughout the day. The night bite is pickin up each day. The day and night bite is about the same pattern right now. Secondary points and pockets of the creeks right up on the bank around wood and any other structure. I'd have a 1/4 oz jig and a 3/16 grub in chartreuse and june bug tied on if I was you. If you aren't getting bit on the points and pockets using a jig, back off to some humps and main tapering points with grass and mix it up with a grub or jig. We caugth almost 50 fish in 2.5 days last weekend. Good luck. "

well the trip to dale was one that has been usual since two summers ago i only caught 7 fish one was about a 2 lb ky and that was it there was a few pleasure boaters but they was puttin them in still when i took out at about 1 or so last night.... the fishing was tough and actually i was expecting more from the lake because it was full and there was some grass but i fish a dall fly and pork chunk and brush hog and thats all i did good on i had the little lady on the zara spook and i threw it some and we couldnt even get a blow up so i dunno if the fishin is falling off or what but i dont see my self goin back to dale until the water gets back down below 50 in the dead of winter.. but the water was in the low 70's and clear to stained depending on if u was on a mud or rock bank.... but i just dunno.... i got my fishin mojo back i guess dale is jsut on the decline for a few years or something.....
