While Chuck Strange (Strange Bait and Tackle) did go in for his transplant as reported several weeks ago, apparently the operation was not completed at that time, due to complications with the donor organ. Chuck is still waiting on a Liver. Please stop by and give your support to Chuck if you go through Burkesville, and say some prayers that he will get another shot at a liver.
I will not go into the details more than this but I did want to fix the erroneous report I had made about 4 weeks ago concerning his transplant. He was hospitalized 14 days ago due to his illness not with problems concerning the liver transplant as previously reported. ( I assumed and should have been more careful in reporting, but my source assured me that he was getting the transplant.. ergo the false report.)
Again I am sincerely sorry for the erroneous report and will strive to verify my sources with more than one source in the future. I know better and I am disappointed.. both for Chuck, and with my reporting on this.
