How did your trip go, tell us all about it??

your hitting on a touchy subject mhall . i will just say that thanks to unforseen circumstances(wife), i didn't make it. however, i fished a big tourney on the ohio river sunday. i didn't finish in the money, but caught a lot of fish. we had our limit, but could not get a kicker. i did lose four keepers and all would have upgraded us to the money. the fish were buried in the brush and i just didn't get them all out of there. it made me sick because probably would have put us in fourth. they paid top 8 and we finished 10. we fished about 2 hours before we got a bite. we found out they wanted a craw patern and it was on. had a lot of fun even though we didn't place.

Sorry the trip got cancelled, things happen don't they. Sounds like a decent bite on the river, too bad about loosing those keepers, they are hard to get out of that thick stuff sometimes.

Andrew had a 12lber. We also caught three nice walleye and I caught two short stripes. At daylight I got a nice 4lb 6oz largehead and one decent smallmouth a few other dink Ky's caught. We took out early as we were some tired puppies and was wanting to fish again that night. Largejaw was close to 24 inches and was spawned out, would have easily been over five a couple of weeks ago. The stripes seem to be slowing way down but the walleyes are still strong.
